Texture and taste was flat with no real flavor of any kind....we had Chocolate with white icing.....Very Pricey
Our wedding was in 2006 and they did an amazing job on our cake. It was a 3 tier hexagon cake which i think made it just a little different from the norm. They also did everything in butter cream and it was so smooth you would have sworn it was fondant (which I am not a fan of) The taste was amazing (much better than the samples) and the groom's cake was a to die for cheesecake with fresh fruit. They were wonderful to work with and took all the stress away so that when i walked through the door and saw my cake for the first time I was amazed!
Pricing was on the expensive side, but entirely worth it. Our guests were very, very happy!
Edmund and Carolyn of Sticky Fingers Cakes made the most glorious cake for our wedding. They were wonderfully communicative throughout the process (even from a 500 mile distance) and I have never seen a wedding cake disappear so quickly. We had vanilla genoise cake layered with lemon mousse and raspberry mousse with lemon buttercream. I have never tasted a lighter or silkier butter cream-- it was divine!
